SyCom Connects with Community, Donates over 1,000 Books

f t in

SyCom is committed to staying connected to our local community by giving back in whatever ways we can. Over the past five years, our SyCom headquarters office has built a strong relationship with Holladay Elementary School, a public elementary school located in Henrico, Virginia, and its principal Ms. Kimberly Olsen.

Each year, right before the new school year begins, a group of SyCom employees voluntarily delivers donated school supplies and gently used children’s books to Holladay Elementary School. This year, after weeks of collecting donations within the company, SyCom proudly presented the school with over 1,000 books, a total surpassing all book donations in years past. Additionally, we contributed over 20 boxes filled with supplies needed for the upcoming school year including glue sticks, pencils, tape, dry erase markers, tissues and more.

Everyone at SyCom loves to know we are helping these children and the Holladay staff always expresses their gratitude. We look forward to continuing this relationship in the years to come.
