SyCom 2016 Mid-Year Sales Meeting

SyCom had its Mid-Year Sales Meeting on August 16th. Our Sales team, with members from Richmond, Roanoke, Virginia Beach and Northern Virginia, gathered together at our company headquarters to receive company and partner updates. Our VP of Sales, Tom Carr, kicked off the meeting.

The Sales team received updates from our Technical Leadership, Twann Atkins and Wayne Luck. Our Cisco PAM, Traci Brossfield, and her team joined the Sales meeting to provide insight on Cisco FY ’17. SyCom’s Marketing Department, headed by Sarah Virgin, gave us a look into the Marketing Plan for Q3/Q4. Microsoft Partner Sales Executive, Brian Harper, and his team then also joined the Sales meeting to discuss Microsoft FY ’17. Then SyCom’s own SMARTnet Program members shared some exciting numbers and success stories with the Sales team. And lastly, after a Gelati Celesti ice cream social break, the Sales team engaged in market trend discussions. Sales members broke into teams and traveled to each of our HQ office’s six conference rooms to hear internal updates from TSC and Solution Architects. The Sales team listened to the latest and greatest updates, trends, and information from our Cisco, Microsoft, UC/AV, Network Infrastructure, Data Center, PMO and TSC SyCom engineer teams.

SyCom organizes a Mid-Year Sales Meeting for our Sales team each year in order to keep all of our offices connected. It is also a great opportunity for the Sales team to ask questions, stay informed and to prepare them for expected future trends.
