Remote Work Update

A Message from our CEO:

COVID-19 hit us hard in mid-March and then it happened. We all did it.  Quickly. We transitioned our workforce to working remotely from home.  Our businesses are 100% intact and functioning.

The stories are endless: the positive impact of no commuting, enjoying casual dress, flexible work hours, time with family, ability to focus, etc. is balanced with the challenge of childcare, child and pet video interruptions, fighting for bandwidth, feeling isolated, IT security concerns, etc. We spent time and effort to ensure the physical and mental health of our employees remained strong. I am proud of the SyCom team’s efforts to stay connected in small groups with meaningful things to share (“what brings me joy”, “a symbol of my time at home”, “creative cocktails”) and their ability to pivot to into hosting successful internal, virtual events for the entire company (live concert of SyCom musicians, a comedian who engaged employees).

Through this transition, our partnership and commitment to you in ensuring your business remains healthy and resilient is unwavering. We appreciate the confidence and trust you have in SyCom as evidenced by the projects we continue to execute together during these challenging times. We have learned a lot about how to optimize the end-user and collaborative experiences while maintaining the highest level of security.  We will continue to connect with you virtually, but look forward to connecting with you in person soon.
