While COVID-19 has had a large impact on how the upcoming 2020-2021 school year will look, SyCom employees still sought to connect to the local Richmond community. For the eighth year in a row SyCom donated school supplies to Holladay Elementary, a public elementary school located in Henrico, Virginia. Our headquarters office has built a strong relationship with Holladay and its staff.
This year, after collecting monetary and school supply donations for multiple weeks, SyCom proudly delivered many boxes containing 2,310 glue sticks, 258 dry erase markers, 203 pencil boxes, 135 headsets and 495 packs of colored pencils. Extra precautions were taken this year by both SyCom and Holladay to ensure the safety of our employees and the school’s students and staff.
Our employees love knowing we get to help the students, and the school staff members always express their gratitude. We look forward to continuing to connect with our community by supporting this relationship in years to come and wish Holladay the best of luck with the upcoming school year.
